Jaime Go, the 12th of 14 children, was born to Go Chiu and So Hua, immigrants from Fujian, China. His early education began at Chiang Kai Shek College (CKSC) for kindergarten, followed by elementary school at Tiong Se Academy. He continued his academic journey at Uno High School and later pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering at Adamson University.

Jaime’s professional career began with a two-year stint at Safeguard Grocery from 1973 to 1974. Following this, he worked at Atlantic Foundry from 1975 to 1976, navigating the challenges that came with the period after Martial Law. He then joined Gody Wax, where he worked from 1976 to 1977.

In 1979, Jaime’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Kopa Metal, marking the beginning of his journey in the metal industry. His vision and dedication culminated in the founding of Acetech Metal in the year 2000, a company that has since become a significant player in the industry.

Jaime is married to Alice Go, and together they have four children. His life story is a testament to resilience, hard work, and the pursuit of innovation.

To give back to society, Jaime has been actively involved in various community organizations. He has served as the Treasurer at Go Association, the President at STower Association, and the Vice President at Tiong Se Alumni Association.
